Water purification with the help of a catalyst and UV sunlight: Heterogeneous photocatalysis is an advanced oxidation water purification method based on high oxidation ability of hydoxyl radicals. We will produce these radicals by using an appropriate catalyst on the basis of Titanium dioxide and UV radiation and demonstrate their efficiency on the case of the decomposition of a textile dye in the water.
