Solar car and hydrogen from water and sun

Location: Bevkov Square / Bevkov trg (in front of the Nova Gorica Centre of Culture), Nova Gorica.

Time: 9:30 - 20:30

The researchers of the Materials Research Laboratory will demonstrate how to convert solar energy to electric energy by the use of solar cells. The energy produced can be used for splitting of water molecules and production of hydrogen. We can imagine hydrogen as a batery for storing the solar energy. In order to run the electric car we will need electric energy, which will be obtained in a fuel cell by reaction of hydrogen and oxygen.
